Math Counts

Description:  MATHCOUNTS is the nationwide math coaching and competition program for 7th and 8th grade students.  There are team and individual competitions.

Home School Chain Reaction Workshop at Creative Discovery Museum Science Theatre, Northgate Mall

February 21, 2006
Tuesday
1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Area engineers needed to help with home school groups. Build innovative chain reaction design during the workshop. Taken from the MIT Museum’s F. A. T. chain reaction program. The workshop will involve using levers, gears, pulleys, inclined planes, screws, gravity, equal and opposite actions, inertia, and creativity to build a better MOUSETRAP. The workshop will end with a Q/A session at the end to explore engineering as a career.
