TDOT Local Projects Update

Ken Flynn, Region 2 Director of Operations, will present an update on various local construction projects occurring in the Chattanooga area as well as an overview of the Design Build I-75/I-24 Interchange and the I-24 Germantown Road Construction Manager General Contractor (CMGC) projects that are under development.

Regional Operations is responsible for directing the administrative, engineering, and technical activities for multiple offices within middle Tennessee's 24 counties of Region 2, including Construction and Maintenance offices across three districts, Bridge Inspection and Repair, Materials and Tests, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Traffic Engineering, and Incident Response.

Other key responsibilities focus on the management of infrastructure assets to provide a safe, reliable and efficient roadway network as well as timely delivery of construction projects providing increased mobility and capacity options for multimodal users. Regional Operations works hand in hand with communities, state, and local partners to provide strong strategic relationships and coordinated service to our customers.

***TDOT will be hosting us at their new location 7512 Volkswagen Drive.  Park outside the Administration Building.  Once you enter, the entrance to the auditorium is located along the mural wall.

Lunch will be available to purchase for $5, but we do need you to RSVP in order to plan accordingly.
