ASHRAE- Preventing Condensing in Non-Condensing Appliances

The Wednesday January 3rd (2018!) meeting will feature a presentation by Chris Edmondson from James M. Pleasants Company titled “Is it Raining in Your Boiler? – Preventing Condensing in Non-Condensing Appliances”.

Mr. Edmondson is an ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer and dynamic speaker.  He has presented several times for the Chapter and we welcome him back to speak about boilers.  More biographical details about our presenter are shown below and in the attached newsletter.

REMINDER – We have a NEW LOCATION for this year.  We will be meeting in a space provided by Calvary Chapel at 3415 Broad St, Chattanooga, TN 37409.  Enter through the doors on the white building with a “YOUTH” sign on top.  Parking is free.  Lunch will be catered from the on-site restaurant per our normal setup for $20.

Mr. Edmondson received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1967. During the summers, he worked at Barber Coleman and Jay Johnson Controls. After graduation, he spent four and a half years as a salesman with the Trane Company. In 1971, he went to work for the James M. Pleasants Company, Inc. (Manufacturer’s Representative for the ITT Fluid Handling Division). He worked as an outside salesman until 1978, when he was promoted to Vice President and Sales Manager until 1987. Since 1987 to the present time, he has served as President of the James M. Pleasants Company, Inc.
