Presentation by Scott McKenzie P.E. titled “Should’a had an RFI!”

Mr. McKenzie (with March Adams & Associates) will share insights from our local inspectors with respect to clarifications and items that if added to engineering drawings would will assist the owner, the contractor and the inspector to reduce errors, problems and confusion on the construction site. Be prepared to share your own insights as well!

In design, a question not asked, can lead to problems in the field which impact the contractor, inspector, owner, budget and schedule. What are some of the most frequent items that are found to have construction problems and what can design professionals do to help? Can/should drawings be used as teaching tools? We will explore these questions and more!
