hosted by the Chattanooga Regional Manufacturers Association, Chattanooga State Institute of Material Joining and Testing, ASQ, & AWS Chattanooga
Friday, April 26 11:30AM – 1:00PM Location: Chattanooga State Cost to Attend: $10 (includes lunch)
April is National Welding Month, an annual event organized by the American Welding Society (AWS) to celebrate the welding industry through education, mentorship and recognition. National Welding Month is an important opportunity to highlight an industry where trade skills are in dire need. The industry is predicting a shortage of over 200,000 skilled welding professionals by 2020. By spotlighting the opportunities available in our industry we can create a better future for welding and the professionals that choose welding as a career.
The Chattanooga Regional Manufacturers Association (CRMA) Alliance in Manufacturing Excellence (AIME) April program will be a joint meeting with AWS Chattanooga, ASQ Chattanooga, and Chattanooga State’s Institute of Material Joining and Testing (IMJAT) showcasing local companies with welding as the main focus of their operation.
Our speakers are:
Russel Decker, CWE, Miller Industries
Dale Jones, Human Resource Manager, Tennessee Rand/Lincoln Electric
James Smith, Quality Manager, Ivey Cooper
