The Best Kept Business Secret in Chattanooga: Environmental Solutions Group - A Dover Corporation Operating Company

Environmental Solutions Group (ESG) is a Dover Company whose Corporate Headquarters is at 2030 Hamilton Place Boulevard, Suite 200 Chattanooga, Tennessee.  ESG is the manufacturer of Refuge Trucks (Heil), Compaction Equipment (Marathon), Curatto Can, Bayne, Third-Eye and has developed unique solutions for many related business needs such as organics processing, auger compaction, internet of thing (IOT) solutions for the waste and waste transportation equipment.  Their digital solutions efforts relative to IOT have lead the way for Dover Corporation.  ESG employees over 1000 employees with about 50 in the corporate office in Chattanooga, 450 employees at the Heil Plant in Fort Payne Alabama, 250 employees at the Marathon in Vernon, Alabama, 100 people in the Phoenix Manufacturing facility, 100 at Third-Eye in Houston, Texas and the balance at several other locations including India.  Approximately 120 Engineers, and 800 manufacturing employees.  ESG is know in the waste business as the innovator in such things as integration of compressed natural gas tanks into the tail gate of their refuge trucks, reducing the weight of the refuge truck bodies, introduction of auger compaction equipment, integration of operation characteristics and video into their IOT services and the development of organic processing equipment.

Our speaker will be Mr. Shane Peek, Senior Director of Engineering for ESG, where he oversees all the engineering for the product lines provided by ESG.  Shane is a proud graduate with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama, a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering and his Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. Shane has been with the company for 15 years and had previously been at North American Bus Manufacturing in Anniston, Alabama.
