Issac Lima (of Mitsubishi Electric Trane) will speak on Variable Refrigerant Flow systems. Mitsubishi Electric Trane is a manufacturing firm serving commercial, residential and industrial heating and cooling markets.

Mr. Lima was born and raised in northeast Brazil and moved to Sarasota, Florida at the young age of 10. He received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida in 2012. While completing his degree, he worked as a Mechanical Intern/Graduate Engineer at TLC Engineering in Orlando for over 2 years. After graduation, he moved to Fort Myers with his now wife and spent about 4 years as a commercial project manager for B&I Contractors (M-E-P specialty contractor in Southwest Florida). In 2017 he came to work for Mitsubishi Electric – HVAC Division in Atlanta as a Commercial Area Manager. In his current role for over 2 years at METUS, he continues to support their VRF, ventilation and ductless mini-split products in the north Georgia commercial market.

Mr. Lima will be giving an overview of the variable refrigerant flow hvac systems commonly used and how they work.  He will also cover the design considerations of introducing outside air to the system, applications in the commercial market and the codes/regulations that apply.
