This month's tour will be to the Architecture and Construction Institute at Howard School. The Architecture and Construction Institute is one of the Future Ready Institutes of Hamilton County. The goal of the Future Ready Institutes is to "offer a unique career themed based education through the smaller learning communities model."
The students of the Architecture and Construction Institute have created safety infographics about safety standards in the construction and architecture worksite. The tour will walk through the the VW eLab and the hallways where the infographics are posted.
There will be an opportunity (for those that want to and can do so time-wise) to judge the infographics based on a rubric presented and help pick the winners from both pathways.
Because it is a public school, you have to register and get a visitor's badge at the main entrance of Howard School. Be sure and have a valid ID.
Parking: There should be plenty of parking in the Howard School parking area. There's a stop light on Market, turn into the school and follow to the parking area.
Note that no PDH will be awarded for this session.
