Nokian Tyres: From Finland to Dayton Tennessee

Nokian Tyres opened its Dayton, Tennessee production factory in 2019 after breaking ground two years prior. Commercial production began in January 2020, and the company is ramping up to eventual capacity of up to four million tires per year.
Currently, Nokian Tyres is hiring nearly 150 additional workers at the facility as it prepares to add third and fourth production shifts. The production building earned LEED v4 Silver certification for its eco-friendly design and energy efficiency, and the solar-powered administration building recently earned LEED v4 Gold certification.
The Dayton Factory is one of the most high-tech, eco-friendly tire production facilities in the world. David Korda will speak about the construction and production and Nokian Tyres growth opportunity in the North American market and for the Southeast Tennessee economy.
