Showcasing Valmont During National Welding Month

April is National Welding Month! Welding careers play an integral role in keeping people safe and advancing the quality of life across the globe. There are many welding activities and professionals in the Chattanooga region. Chattanooga Engineers Club will dedicate this meeting to showcase Valmont in Jasper, Tennessee.
Established in 1946, Valmont Industries is a global leader of engineered products and services for infrastructure and water-conserving irrigation equipment and technology solutions for agriculture. The company is organized around four primary business segments, which include Utility Support Structures, Engineered Support Structures, Irrigation and Coatings.
The company plans to expand its operations by investing $15-20 million to increase the size of its manufacturing facility in Jasper. The expansion will create 65 new jobs over the next five years in Marion County, including welding jobs. TVA and Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative provide support to the Jasper operation.
