What you CAN'T do with HVAC Systems, speaker Scott McKenzie

[yes--there was a last-minute switch on Feb 2]

Wed March 2 at 11:30a

This month Scott McKenzie will return with a review of some common HVAC components that are often misapplied and end up not functioning “as designed” (as hoped!). Often the cause is lack of knowledge about the product or simply the result of old habits. Some of the items to be reviewed will include: partial flow in cooling towers, long-line refrigerant flow, small air handler moisture problems, excessive equipment pressure drops and expansion tank mistakes. Scott is never afraid to air-out the laundry and share lessons learned. Mr. McKenzie will share some insights in system performance and equipment selection and enjoys teaching from and explaining previous “opportunities for improvement”.

As senior engineer with March Adams and Associates, Scott has been practicing at engineering for over 40 years and has experience in designing, installing and troubleshooting a wide variety of processes and system support utilities. He has a special expertise in large scale chilled water systems and has designed several systems in excess of 3000 tons.

Professional Development Certificates (1 hour) will be provided after the webinar.

Reservations: RSVP no later than 4:00pm Tuesday March 1 via email to Tricia King  tking@cornerstone-automation.com or call 423-619-8001
