'Tis the Season for Robotics

Referee Volunteers Wanted!

Chattanooga Engineers Club, under the leadership of past presidents, Ed Chapin, involved sponsors, mentored coaches and recruited teams for many years, Today, TN Valley Robotics, with leadership members that were all recruits of Ed Chapin, have grown and expanded.

Team members, coaches, and volunteers all agree – FIRST® LEGO® League events are some of the most amazing, inspiring experiences they’ve ever had. Where else can you make new friends, share ideas, solve problems on the fly, and get pumped up over technology all while having the time of your life?

At FIRST LEGO League events, kids realize more than ever that FIRST is all about teamwork, sharing, helping others, and respect.

Every year, FIRST® LEGO® League releases a new Challenge based on a real-world, scientific theme. 2022 - 2023 theme is:

SUPERPOWEREDSM

In the SUPERPOWERED℠ challenge, FIRST LEGO League teams will explore where energy comes from and how it is distributed, stored, and used – and then put their superpowered creativity to work to innovate for a better energy future.
