Speakers:
Mark D. Heinzer, P.E., Interim Administrator of Chattanooga Wastewater Department at the Moccasin Bend Environmental Campus. Mark is a Professional Civil Engineer currently registered in Ohio and Tennessee. He is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP), a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), and a Certified Professional in Municipal Stormwater Management (CPMSM). Mark completed a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio in 1993 and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering in 1999. Since then, Mark has worked in the public sector for both Municipal and State level agencies as well as in the private sector as a consultant. Mark has extensive experience with stormwater and wastewater management at the municipal level.
Xavier Pedeux, P.E., Program Manager with the Jacobs Engineering Chattanooga office, where he is responsible for managing the City’s Consent Decree Program and developing Program solutions. Xavier has 23 years of experience in the water and sewer industry. He started his career with a water utility in the Greater Paris area, France, and then with a major water utility in Melbourne, Australia. After that, he worked as an international water and sewer consultant in various continents, and then got involved in the Cleveland, OH wet weather Consent Decree Program and the Detroit, MI water & sewer Capital Improvement Program.
