This month’s chapter program will give us the opportunity to learn more about guidance on how to reopen buildings with healthy ventilation post COVID-19 pandemic
The presentation will discuss two topics: guidance from ASHRAE for building reopening and readiness post the COVID-19 pandemic, and how it complies with the T24 Building Energy Efficiency Standard (2019). Other healthy ventilation controls should allow building operators to configure air changes to help reduce the concentration of airborne infectious particles. Supervision for facilities to purge high levels of CO2 using the demand control ventilation. Explanation of fault detection and notification for conditions such as air temperature sensor failure that are fully compatible with T24, Part 6, Section 120.2(i). We’ll also discuss healthy buildings dashboards through HTML 5, and the benefits of developing such.
