TVA Business & Industry Incentives with speaker Chris Azar

Wed April 3 at 11:30a

This month’s chapter program will give us the opportunity to learn about TVA Business & Industry Incentives

Through this training we aim to share TVA’s current challenges and goals around energy efficiency. In addition, learn how TVA can help customers reach their energy goals through new incentives, programs, and how to join the Preferred Partner Network (PPN). TVA’s Business & Industry Team provides financial incentives on qualifying equipment upgrades that help local business and industrial customers reach their energy goals. The team also manages the Preferred Partner Network, which is a group of trusted, vetted commercial and industrial trade allies committed to promoting high-quality energy efficiency technologies and equipment.

Chris Azar is a Senior Program Manager at TVA supporting the Business and Industry incentives program. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Tennessee, Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP). Before joining the Business and Industry Team he worked for 14 years managing TVA’s Internal Energy Management Program (IEMP). In IEMP, he was responsible for helping TVA meet federal laws and Presidential Executive Orders that require it to identify and implement projects that reduce energy and water consumption in TVA facilities. Prior to joining TVA in 2009, Chris worked as a Mechanical Engineer with Allen & Hoshall in Memphis, TN. He coordinated the design of HVAC systems and performed energy studies for a range of building types including schools, offices, warehouses, hospitals, industrial buildings, and military bases.

Professional Development Certificates (1 hour) will be provided after the webinar.
