Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society at UTC is hosting a presentation:
“The Difference Between a Boss and a Leader”
The purpose of this talk is to share with students and engineering professionals the skills needed to become effective leaders.

Speaker:
Dr. James A. Johnson is a nationally recognized leadership coach. His clients include US government, including White House staff, recognized organizations such as M&M Mars, Cooper Tire Rubber, Merck Pharmaceutical, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, and NFL Super Bowl MVPs. He received the President’s Volunteer Service Award and two Joint resolutions for leadership programs he initiated from The Texas House of Representatives and The Texas Senate.
Dr. Johnson is the Founder of the national firm, Ethos Leadership Group. His resume included serving as a University President. He has a doctoral degree from Texas Tech University in Organizational Communication and did post-doctoral studies in Leadership at Harvard University.
He has authored 2 books on leadership, “Why Is No One Following Me?” and recently, “Learn More, Do More, Be More, BE A LEADER.”
