CEC and ASME will hold joint meeting and visit Southern Adventist University to learn about the new engineering program.
Beginning in Fall 2023, Southern Adventist University launched a new Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree with emphases in Computer, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. Hallmarks of Southern's BSE program include an emphasis on hands-on laboratory-based learning, multiple team-based engineering design experiences, and a focus on missional service. This new program builds on the university's successful two-year pre-engineering degree that has been offered for many years.
Tyson Hall, PhD, dean of the School of Engineering and Physics, will provide program updates.
Our visit will include lunch and a tour of the facility.
Taco Salad lunch bar will be available for $15 payable to the University's food service.
