Engineers Week (E Week) was founded in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). It is among the oldest of America’s professional engineering outreach efforts. In concert with more than 70 engineering, education, and cultural societies, and more than 50 corporations and government agencies. Each year, engineers in the greater Chattanooga Area kickoff Engineers Week with a Luncheon.
CEC's current president opens the annual luncheon and introduce the chair of the luncheon. The chair of 2025 E Week luncheon is Julie Thompson, she is the ASME Chattanooga Section chair.
