About Thrive and TRIP

Thrive Regional Partnership (Thrive) is an independent nonprofit agency that leverage cross-sector relationships and data to advance long-term, sustainable growth practices across the tri-state greater Chattanooga region. Thrive's footprint includes southeast Tennessee, northwest Georgia, and northeast Alabama.

The Thrive Regional Infrastructure Portal (TRIP) is a geospatial data portal that is the first of its kind to integrate information from across three states (Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee) that are critical corridors of the southeastern supply chain network. The resulting research is a resource to several sectors in the 16-county region and beyond, including the logistics and manufacturing industries, public leaders, and educational institutions that have supply chain and transportation professional programs.

Built by Thrive Regional Partnership and Georgia Tech, TRIP is providing a gateway to learn more about freight industry, logistics data, and transportation infrastructure in the greater Chattanooga region. Shannon Millsaps will share how users can access to read StoryMaps, interact with regional maps, and to access transportation and freight-related datasets.
