Looking Ahead with Keri Randolph, the new president of Benwood Foundation.
Benwood Board of Trustees announced the appointment in September.
Dr. Randolph will assume the role on November 3rd.

The Benwood Foundation is a private foundation focusing on supporting Chattanooga's prosperity through grants, collaboration and partnership.
The foundation began through a generous gift from George Thomas Hunter. Mr. Hunter was president of Coca-Cola Bottling Company.
About our speaker
Dr. Randolph was the executive director of Chattanooga 2.0, a nonprofit organization that works to change systems for generational impact to improve economic opportunity and quality of life for residents of Hamilton County. Benwood played a key role in the creation of Chattanooga 2.0.
Dr. Randolph previously served as the chief strategy officer for Metro Nashville Public Schools, where she aligned resources with strategy to oversee more than $600 million in federal and private funds. She has served as Assistant Superintendent of Innovation at the Hamilton County Department of Education, Vice President of Learning at the Public Education Foundation (PEF), and as a lead faculty member on the UTeaChattanooga program at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Dr. Randolph began her career as a biochemist but pivoted to teaching high school science for 10 years in North Carolina. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA, and a master’s of science education from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Dr. Randolph earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2020.
