CEC will kick-off the new year with another joint meeting. We appreciate ASME Chattanooga for continuing the collaboration. Thank you to ASCE Chattanooga and ASHE Tennessee Valley for partnering with us on a joint program.

We have started several years with TDOT regional project updates, since Wright Brothers Construction Company have been involved in many recent projects, we will have project update from a contractor perspective.

About Wright Brothers:

Wright Brothers began in 1961, when two brothers, James and Robert Wright, using their father’s bulldozer to dig out ponds for  helping neighbors.  Wright Brothers, based in Charleston, TN, has grown into a regional full-service heavy civil construction company, a valued general contractor working in many states.

Recent news:

Wright Brothers Construction Company, Inc. has been selected by the North Carolina Department of Transportation (@ncdot) to lead the emergency repair of critical infrastructure damaged by Hurricane Helene along US 74A, NC 9, and US 64 in Henderson and Rutherford counties. The project, which includes major roadway and bridge reconstruction between Bat Cave and Chimney Rock, will restore vital access to communities severely impacted by the storm.

About our speaker:

Tony Boals, Vice President of Wright Brothers Construction Company, is a professional engineer licensed in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.  He holds BS in Civil Engineering from UT Knoxville, and MS in Construction Management from UT Chattanooga.
