This is a MFGDay Event!
Joint event for ASME Chattanooga and CEC.
About MFGDay
Celebrated annually on the first Friday in October with events continuing throughout the month, MFG Day has grown into one of the most visible workforce development movements in the country.
Each year, manufacturers and their partners across the country open their doors to students, educators, parents and community members to show what manufacturing looks like, and learn how things are made to support the economy.
About Rolling Oak
Nestled in the scenic Sequatchie Valley, Rolling Oak Distillery in Dunlap, Tennessee, embodies the rich, time-honored heritage of traditional Appalachian spirit-making (Adkins, 2017). Operating as a small-batch craft distillery, it draws deep inspiration from the local history and natural beauty of the region, where the abundance of pristine water and white oak trees historically laid the foundation for the state's renowned whiskey culture (Gaston, n.d.). Emphasizing local craftsmanship and authentic flavors, Rolling Oak provides both residents and visitors with a taste of homegrown Tennessee tradition, serving as a welcoming community staple for high-quality, locally produced spirits.
