2027 Officer Election will take place before the scheduled program
At the September leadership meeting, Aaron Wiley appointed three past presidents, Lulu Copeland, Tiffany Gibby, and Harry Hawkins as members of the nomination committee.
As noted in CEC's constitution, the office of President shall be filled by automatic succession of the previous year's Vice President.
Philip Donihe will assume the role of the president on January 1, 2027.
The committee shall nominate one or more members for the office of Vice President, and for the office of Secretary.
Jacqueline Smith has accepted a nomination as a candidate for Vice President. Adam Szczuka is a candidate for Secretary
The position of Treasurer shall be appointed by the Committee and shall be held for an indefinite period of time. Jerry McClanahan will lead the treasury committee, with Richard Manning as a secondary.
The nomination committee will accept additional nominations until November 2.

Any nominations must have had the consent of the person nominated that the person will serve if elected. - A nomination must be seconded in order to be considered for election.
