The Engineering Inspiration Award celebrates outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within a team’s school and community.

The Chattanooga STEM school won the Engineering Inspiration award at the Rocket City Regional in Huntsville last Saturday, March 24. The award includes a trip to the FIRST World Championship in Houston, Texas. The school has a 30 member team and the cost to send them to Houston for the four-day competition is about $16,000, or nearly $600 per student. Many of the students are from low income families and the team is looking for donations to defray the cost.

We apologize to those who have stopped receiving the Engineers Club newsletter over the past year as we have struggled with a web site and mailing list change.  This site represents a new start with professional support and enhanced capabilities.

Our vision is that Engineers Club Events calendar will become your go-to place to find engineering and technical events all over the region.  We value your feedback (and patience!) as we work toward this end.
